These photos are from a family trip we took through Italy in 2006. There are some amazing photos and this was honestly one of the very best vacations. We spent two weeks eating our way through Italy and I absolutely fell in love with this country. I was obsessed with speaking Italian everywhere and could seriously consider relocating. In Venice, we took a gondola ride through the canals and were able to see the city from the water. You basically take water taxis to get around and it’s incredible to witness. We managed to find an amazing seafood restaurant (not that it’s so difficult in Italy) and went there both nights we were in town. We still talk about that restaurant to this day, 10 years later. I am in love with the photo of my sister in the midst of all those pigeons, how adorable is the little old man laughing next to her? I never noticed that before but it’s just great!
